5.0 out of 5 stars I love this! 5 Stars
I have had this only a few days but I love this machine! I has everything I need and nothing I don’t. Easy to use. K cups brew fast as well as the full pot. Replacing my Bunn machine and I think that says a lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best coffee pot we’ve had!
Just some things that we love about it… The water reservoir makes it so much quicker and easier in the morning… everything brews quickly…love the cold brew option… The opening lids for pods and filters is super easy and smooth-Kind of like a slow close hinge on a cabinet door! … it’s smaller than others we’ve had so it doesn’t take up as much space. We absolutely love it!

Every part of the Keurig experience was improved. Faster single cup brewing, hotter coffee, larger water reservoir. I am very happy with this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Makes great coffee but needs a battery backup for the clock
This coffee maker has it all EXCEPT a backup battery for the clock. There’s a lot to like about this Keurig. It has a large 72 oz reservoir for holding water. That equates to about nine 8 oz cups of K-cup-made coffee before must refill the tank. While this unit takes up a bit more counter space than an individual coffee maker or a K-cup machine, given it includes both capabilities, it takes up less space than having two separate coffee makers. I tested both carafe and K-cup brewing, and both make great tasting coffee, and quickly at that. It can be preset brew a pot of coffee at later time. That allows me to set it up to brew a pot (not K-cup) of coffee so it’s freshly made and ready in the morning. While that feature doesn’t work for a K-cup brew, I don’t think that’s a problem because making a K-cup brew only takes about 1 minute. I also like that it lets me select the amount of coffee to make. For K-cups it will make either a 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz cup. For a carafe of coffee, it will make either a 6, 8, 10, or 12 cup pot of coffee. Overall, this is a great machine for a coffee lover. BUT, I do have a couple of complaints. First, for a coffee maker that costs about $200 I have to ask why it doesn’t have a battery backup for the clock. If the power glitches for even a second, it loses the time setting and its internal clock must be reset. For the price of this premium coffee maker, I strongly encourage the manufacturer to add a battery so that doesn’t happen. Further, use a commonly available battery, like a 2032 coin cell that is user replaceable. Also, the line that marks the maximum fill level for the reservoir is really difficult to see, especially if you’re trying to see it without removing the reservoir. It would be better if the markings were in a contrasting color (e.g. black) so that they are easy to see against the clear reservoir. Overall, I really like this product and none of my complaints stop me from recommending it. That said, there’s room for improvement (especially including a battery backup for the clock). And for that reason, I’m giving this item 4 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars The most BANG for our buck!
Love the options … go for hot or cold, cup or pot. And I am glad I can control the size and strength of the brew. This Kurig really is the answer to our large family coffee conundrums.

2.0 out of 5 stars Broke after 2 weeks!
Purchased it for $199, and loved it for the two weeks that it worked. Then after 2 weeks, when I tried to use the iced coffee, it gave me ER3, PR5 error code and would not dispense water to make an iced coffee. When I called customer support for Keurig, they did not tell me what the problem was but said they would send me a replacement. That was awesome customer service, but they would not send the new unit until UPS received my old unit to be shipped back to them. So because I did not have a box for shipping the old unit, it took me several days to get it to UPS and then once they had that tracking number for the old unit, they shipped the new unit to me which took about a week. I will update if the new unit breakes also.

4.0 out of 5 stars Convenient for families that split between ground and pods
This is ideal for an office environment or a family that splits their use between ground and k-cups. The carafe makes large 12 cup pots and the k-cup side is quick and easy to use. The reservoir is very large and can fill the 12 cup carafe and run a few k-cups. Temps come out consistently around 180 degrees.
Cons list:
X-hot and strong features only available in the K-cup side
Large reservoir is a rear full detachable container so you’ll need to leave plenty of room to comfortably access it.
Cannot make single serve on the carafe side, 6 cups is the minimum.
No measuring guide or recommended settings for the carafe so you’ll have to figure out your ratio/portion sizes and note them.
Would I recommend this? Yes and no.
Yes! If you make large pots of coffee daily and have other people who pop in k-cups throughout the day/week then this is ideal. It makes consistent brews in a reasonably quick time and combines 2 machines in one.
No if you’re a small family that doesn’t consume a lot of coffee. For my wife and I, our ninja will still reign supreme because I can take the guesswork out with the measuring spoon. It’s simple and I can make small single cups up to 6 cups carafes. I can do rich or standard and it has a side mounted reservoir. For me, the Keurig just isn’t flexible enough for what I need.
Overall, it’s a great coffee maker for homes and businesses that want to condense the amount of appliances on a counter top and give everyone the versatility to do their own thing. The coffee is brewed nicely but the lack of features, built in measuring cup and portion adjustability makes me feel the carafe side of the coffee maker was just an afterthought that was thrown in.
I’m giving this 4 stars because of the lack of features on the carafe side and the rear mounted reservoir. It’s too useful to drop to 3 but too many oversights to give it 5.

4.0 out of 5 stars Versatile coffee maker with great features for hot and iced coffee.
I recently purchased the K-Duo Hot & Iced Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker and have been very pleased with its performance. The MultiStream Technology ensures that the coffee grounds are evenly saturated, resulting in a rich and flavorful cup every time. I love the versatility of being able to brew both single cups and full carafes, which is perfect for different occasions. The 72oz reservoir is a great feature, reducing the need for frequent refills. The option to brew over ice is a fantastic addition, allowing me to enjoy iced coffee without the worry of it getting watered down.
One minor drawback is that the machine can be a bit bulky, taking up more counter space than I anticipated. However, the front-facing control panel is intuitive and makes it easy to select brewing preferences. The strong brew and extra hot functionality are excellent for those who prefer a more intense coffee experience. Overall, this coffee maker is a great investment for coffee lovers who appreciate both hot and iced beverages. I highly recommend it for its convenience and quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Major upgrade over my old Keurig
This coffee maker replaced a single-cup Keurig, a large glass heated water dispenser, and 2 sizes of kettles (one minimum 32oz and one maximum 32oz for single-cup tea brewing.) It’s almost like having an instant heated water dispenser since it heats so much faster than what it replaced- literally minutes faster than the old Keurig. I especially appreciate not having to leave it plugged in all the time when it might not get used every day. This is also the first coffeemaker I’ve seen with a setting just for brewing over ice, which is the main setting I’m using during the summer. The only thing I’d change about that side is how there is a plastic cup holder under the single cup option. It makes us have to hold tall cups at an angle under the spout for making large iced drinks while the old one didn’t have that issue. The other side I mostly use for throwing some tea bags in to make a full carafe of mixed tea with no trouble besides not being able to get the last of the liquid out of the carafe easily. It’s not the worst-designed carafe I’ve used, but it’s worse than I’d expect from such an established brand. I’d also at first thought the reservoir was harder to deal with than my old Keurig, but the lid is definitely easier to use when filling with a pitcher.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best coffee make I’ve ever had!
This is hands down the best coffee maker my wife and I have ever had.
As very busy parents we often wake up feeling tired, caffeine has become our go-to in the mornings and at nights and this Keurig delivers just that.
It will brew an 8 oz cup of coffee with the K-Cup side in less than a minute.
The water reservoir on the back is just as tall and wide as the entire machine is, meaning we can make a lot of coffee before having to refill.
I also really enjoy the self cleaning feature, as most coffee makers on the market do not have this.
The timer feature on the Keurig is also very nice as you can set it to make an entire pot of coffee when you wake up.
We only really use the K-Cup side but when we have guests over, i’m sure our family will love a full pot of coffee.
I have tested the other side of the machine and it pours hot water quickly filling the pot in no time.
The machine definitely takes up a little more counter space than our old Keurig but we also didn’t have a two in one, it would only do the K-Cups.
This would make a fantastic gift for any coffee lover in your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for large gatherings or a personal cup
This is the perfect setup for my wife and I. She likes to brew a pot of coffee as this tastes better to her. I like the convenience of the K-Cups. To date we have had multiple devices to serve this purpose. It takes a lot of counter space and adds to the clutter.
This dual purpose coffee maker has a lot going for it on this front. She can have her brewed pot and I can make my personal coffee anytime. The unit uses the same water reservoir for both methods and it’s easy to refill. The only thing I would recommend purchasing aside from this unit is the filter insert that allows you to add a filter for the water intake. This way you can use tap water and it will be filtered before it is used for brewing. Otherwise you could use filtered water but this is another step.
The unit has a clean configuration and it’s clear which buttons you need to press to either brew or make a k-cup. I like that I can set this for strong or make the water extra hot for keeping hot in a thermos.
This heats up and starts making coffee quicker than my old unit so they must have improved on this front. Very short heat up time.
Overall a very nice unit that provides flexibility and convenience in a nicely sized configuration.

5.0 out of 5 stars Attractive, Easy to Use, and Versatile!
We owned a Keurig hot single serve coffee maker for years, and enjoyed its ease of use, so we were happy to have the opportunity to try this K-Duo hot and iced coffee maker. We will be using it when visiting at one of our son’s houses as he has no coffee maker, and we prefer brewed coffee over instant.
This Keurig K-Duo is like having two coffee makers in one. When one of us wants a cup of coffee while the other doesn’t, it can make up a single cup using a K-Cup pod in under a minute. It also allows us to use our favorite ground coffee, making it extra versatile.
When we spend the night at our son’s house, we can set the timer the night before and have it brew a full carafe of coffee that’s ready for us in the morning. Once brewed, it will keep the coffee hot for up to two hours.
The design is sleek and modern, and will fit into most kitchen decor. The controls are super easy to navigate, making it easy to switch between single serve and carafe brewing without any hassle.
This Keurig K-Duo is attractive, easy to use, and versatile. It makes rich, flavorful coffee and we highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars We love our dual coffee maker
I see the listing changed, this is for the Gen 2.
The last 2 weeks or so we have grown to really love this versatile two in one coffee maker. It fits great on our counter and doesn’t take up much space and fits right under the cabinets. For those in our house that love the convenience and speed of the k-cup this works great and they can make whatever they want. Then for my spouse and I, we make the full pot every morning before work. Works great and makes a nice strong pot of coffee that’s tastes great. About every 2 weeks we run vinegar through our makers to keep them clean and running in tip-top shape. This is very easy to clean and maintain. The maker is made pretty durable as well as we do tend to bring it with us when we go on weekend trips.
This maker is great and we have enjoyed it very much. $200 may seem like a lot but occasionally there are sales or deals going on. It’s still a steep price but definitely worth it especially if you make coffee daily. It could pay for itself after just 1-2 months of use compared to buying coffee at the corner. Definite recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVING this addition to our kitchen! Fantastic upgrade!
Ok, y’all! This coffee maker is amazing! We’ve had Keurig coffee makers in the past, but then got away from the individual k-cups… until now! My husband is an iced coffee drinker, and I’m a hot coffee drinker. This maker is the best of both worlds! I’m loving that we have the option to brew not only a carafe for multiple cups/people, but also are able to brew individual cups if we just need an afternoon pick-me-up cup of coffee. SCORE!
In true Keurig form, it’s so intuitive and easy to use. If you’re familiar with any type of coffee maker, this will be a breeze to operate and customize to your liking. You’re able to customize the temp, strength, and quantity of coffee you’d like to brew… all in one!
Overall, our family is LOVING this upgrade to our previous coffee maker. It’s the best of the iced and hot coffee world, y’all. HIGHLY recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW…WOW…WOW!!!
I just love this thing. We are probably the last people on planet earth to have a Keurig, but here we are coming along into this new world. I love that it makes a pot of coffee, and you can have the Keurig pods any time you want. I find I use the hot water dispenser for all sorts of things, like instant soup, tea, and of course those lovely little pods that come in a marvelous variety of flavors. It is easy to set up, and easy to clean. Our guests really like the variety of pods I keep in a basket for them, and really saves on time to be able to offer someone something and not wait a half hour for the coffee to brew. It takes up no more space than our old coffee maker and fits under the cabinets very easily.

5.0 out of 5 stars We’ve only just begun…
Ok, I’ve not been living with this long, but willing to update later.
We’re a coffee maker/Keurig family. That’s right, 2 devices. 3 if you count the espresso maker, which I do. So when I saw this, I thought ‘great! get rid of the coffee maker that we’re not happy with AND the other device and narrow down to just 2!’
So, now our ‘coffee space’ is cleaner and better organized. We don’t do as much with the old Keurig, but for hot water for tea, or different/single serve coffee options in a pinch it’s great. I wish that the water trough was larger, but that’s a small complaint from someone living with 3 methods of caffeine/ beverage delivery in his home.
I really like all of the options, and the carafe for the standard brewing is solid. The new (to me) 5-hole punch for the single-serve is interesting, and I know that they say that spreading the water out is best for flavor and I like the concept – and that’s carried over to the standard coffee brewer as well.
Like I said – it’s early in the relationship, but so far I’m in love.
So, well done Keurig. We’ve finally moved into the 2020s. Or, something like that.
