5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest addition to coffee regimen
The Amazon Basics 12 Cup Coffee Maker has been a fantastic addition our coffee regimen, as we tend to drink espresso sometimes I want brewed black coffee and this satisfied my needs. This coffee maker is simple to use, with clear, straightforward controls and an easy-to-read water level indicator. The 12-cup capacity is perfect for both small gatherings and my busy mornings.

The brewing process is quick, delivering hot, flavorful coffee every time. I also appreciate the programmable feature, which allows me to set it up the night before and wake up to freshly brewed coffee. The machine’s design is compact and sleek, fitting neatly on my countertop without taking up too much space.

Cleaning is hassle-free with its removable filter basket and carafe. The warming plate keeps the coffee hot for extended periods, which is perfect for those days when I need an extra cup later in the morning. Overall, the Amazon Basics 12 Cup Coffee Maker offers excellent value for its price, providing reliable performance and convenience. Highly recommend for any coffee lover!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great
Purchased this item a month or so ago.. Very Sturdy, fast and great brew. Comes with a reusable filter but I opt for the paper filters as its easier to dispose and clean however, filter is great addition..

    Very satisfied..

4.0 out of 5 stars Simple coffee maker, which is just what we wanted
I’ve had a lot of fancy coffeemakers and never loved them. I don’t need a timer because I get up at different times every day. I just want to be able to set it up the night before and then push the button to turn it on when I get up; by the time I’m out of the bathroom, it’s done. I especially didn’t want automatic shut-off. Sure, it prevents that annoying “oops, I burned the pot” moment but it inevitably results in the coffee getting cold before we’re finished with the pot. This one is simple and just makes coffee, plus it costs less. Win/win. The only thing I don’t love is the mesh filter because it’s a pain to clean, but I took it out and use paper ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars easy to use
some difficulty with the enclosed filter,
coffee grinds kinda came through during brewing.

3.0 out of 5 stars Its basic.
    It makes coffee.
    1) the power switch is on the side and requires a force to toggle the switch that is exceeds the force needed to move the fully loaded coffee maker across the counter. The switch should be mounted so the force applied is downward thus the coffee maker wouldn’t move.
    2) The handle of the pot is hollow, which gives it strength for the material used. It also collects water if mounted upside down in the dishwasher. I a short time you will be trained to turn it right side up so the water stays in the dishwasher.
    3) the impatient plug (so you can pour coffee before the brew is finished) is too stiff or the inner assembly doesn’t always seat properly, and sometimes doesn’t open when the pot is in place. This results in the coffee flowing back into the water reservoir of the coffee maker and not the pot.
    4) heat pad keeps coffee at the brew temperature and doesn’t lower, resulting in toasted coffee if you don’t switch off when it finishes brewing. I was spoiled by my old coffee maker which had a lower temperature.

Not a bad buy. We all have our faults.

5.0 out of 5 stars This coffee pot rocks!!
The coffee pot makes excellent coffee and works perfectly even though it was very inexpensive and had no bells and whistles. I really like the permanent filter as well. I find it is easy to clean and I don’t need to buy the paper filters I had always used which is another plus, yaaaa!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, Good Price
Perfect for a household of 1 or 2 people. Does not take up much counter space and light weight. Would be good for a motor home. Coffee is hot and no paper filters needed. Only drawback is it does not automatically shut off.

4.0 out of 5 stars Simple. Good.
As far as a basic 12-cup coffee maker goes, this one is pretty excellent and comes with the reusable filter.
I would recommend setting an alarm to remind you to turn it off if you are used to pots with an auto shutoff feature. I’ve forgotten to turn it off a couple of times and it leaks a little now, but that is completely my own fault.
I’ve had no problems with this coffee pot that weren’t my own making.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Value but Limited Life
This little coffee maker worked fine for many months but eventually took longer and longer to do its thing. I determined that it was cycling on and off before it finished, which it isn’t supposed to do until brewing is complete. I cleaned it thoroughly and used a descaling solution but it only improved slightly. It’s still working, it just takes about twenty minutes to brew “four” cups. Also, though this is ostensibly a “5-cup” brewer, even with the water tank filled to “MAX” it only comes to the “4” marking on the carafe, which is two 10oz cups (~600ml).
