I love my new BLACK+DECKER coffee maker! It’s smaller and more compact than my old one, which is a big plus for my kitchen. The on/off switch is located perfectly, so I can place it sideways on the countertop, saving even more space. It brews a full pot super quickly and keeps the coffee nice and hot, which is exactly what I need for busy mornings.
One of my favorite things is that there are no drips—whether I’m pouring or taking the pot out mid-brew, it stays clean and mess-free. The removable filter basket also makes cleanup easy. I love this coffee maker. Feed it ground coffee and water, and it will give you delicious bean juice. It’s simple, quick, and does the job. Buy good coffee grounds and you’ll get good coffee, I use Black Rifle (‘Murica! 🦅)
My only complaint is that it says 5 cups but the yield is more like 2-3 cups. I don’t have a problem with that, ’cause I’m not a coffee addict. I usually brew a full carafe, drink a hot cup, then fridge the rest for iced coffee (white girl vibes ✌️)

It makes coffee, but not particularly flavorful coffee. It makes the coffee VERY fast, which is why the taste isn’t great. But you are getting what you pay for – The smallest, simplest, cheapest coffee maker you can buy. I use it in my RV, and for camping it is great. I do really like how fast the coffee gets made, it takes just a few minutes.

This simple coffee maker does a good job of brewing ground coffee. The markings on the side indicate portions, not actual cup measures. Use a good paper filter and pre-wet your coffee before brewing to release all the flavor. Here’s how: First, set up the coffee to brew. Next, before turning on the unit, put some cold water on the ground beans in the filter. Wait a few minutes at least so that the beans absorb the water. Excess cold water will drain into the carafe. Discard the water. Now, turn the unit on and let it brew. Your coffee will be robust and full flavored if you are using premium beans. You don’t need an expensive coffee maker to get a decent cup. And, this unit takes up very little counter space. If you have a small kitchen, like mine, that’s a blessing. These units do not last forever, so expect to replace it every few years.

This is a budget friendly coffee maker that requires filters. It is simple but it has a great drip system & it probably will outlast any $200+ coffee maker. It makes 12 cups & all you have to is add spring water, filter & preferred coffee & flip the red on button & it will brew 12 cups with in 10 or so minutes. It is a strongly made pot & maker & performs well. It is small enough it fits in my space but big enough for 12 cups.

I won’t make excuses for the B&D. It lacks ability to make a truly hot pot of coffee. Perhaps it’s a design flaw. But it raises questions about how it had such good reviews as is often the case with products that fail to meet the minimum expectations. After brewing, and even if I leave it on the warmer a while after brewing. The results are the same – temp is Just above warm. I have bought many MANY coffee makers over the decades. Currently in use; (4i,e,) one 12 cup drop. One 5 cup drip 5-7 years old still works better than this. One Lrg & one small kcup. All of them are years old and all have traveled a few times for wrk or vacay.
I bought this ANZN product to replace my small 5 cup that was about 7 yrs old at best. Deapite routine cleaning n maintenance it was over due to replace. However, despite the over use, travel, and age of my old 5 cup, it still makes a better cup of coffee than the product I replaced it with – the product of this review. I gave it a try and sadly I regret that I cannot recommend this product. Dear shoppers. When it comes to this type of appliance, I suggest spending a few dollars more or buy products that allow more than 30 days to return or replace. *** Very often refuses to assist until MANUFACTURER WRTY is expired. ITS OFTEN TO DISCOURAGE RETURNS OR REPAIR SERVICE REQUESTS. HOWEVER, ***The way around that – PUT PRODUCT AWAY TILL MFTR WRTY EXPIRES. Then SEEK assistance.
This might be a FLUKE. But it’s definitely A HEADACHE and may also be A WASYE OF MY MONEY. And that’s terrible at a time when price gouging is hitting consumers in every department- especially food and small appliances. I remember these little machines often on sale for $10 – not just on Black Friday. Now it’s not that low even on Black Friday. Many vendors once stood behind their products and priority was consumer satisfaction. Sadly, priorities have shifted elsewhere. I’ll update this review with any changes in results of this product purchase. For now I’m looking for the current place to buy appliances with ease and confidence in transactions. I hate writing a bad review. I don’t avoid it. It’s consumers’ duty.

I only purchased this item to replace the glass part that i broke from my BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Digital Coffee Maker. I had broke it only after having the coffee maker for 3 days! After looking on Amazon it was $25+ to get a replacement.. which is crazy considering the original coffee maker was $35.00. after finding this one for HALF the price i figured it would work just as good as … considering it’s the same brand. Sure enough it does and i saved money and got a replacement.

This little coffeemaker seems to brew at the perfect temperature. I’ve spent money on expensive coffee pots to find that they don’t brew at the right temp, resulting in a lackluster cup of coffee. Because of that, I’ve spent the last few years using a tea kettle and a pour over method. As you can tell, I like coffee to be brewed correctly to get the best flavor possible. Recently, I had a cup of coffee at my parents’ house that was made with this coffeemaker, and noticed the depth of flavor. My dad told me had done the research and this coffee maker brews at the optimal temp. I ordered one for my self and made some coffee from freshly ground beans. It was great. Glad to find this one!
